Mario E. Tai, DMD, DMSc, attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and received his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 2007. Furthermore, he conducted orthodontic specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics at Harvard University. He is a member of the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Association of Orthodontics, the Orange County Dental Society, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences acquired at the University of California, Irvine. Past President of the Greater Boston Chinese Dental Association, he is also the recipient of the Harvard Medical School Research Fellowship Award and the Award for Excellence in Dental Research by the American Dental Association.
